Today has a weird feeling, and Miwako really wants to make a weird post on a weird day. I don't know...

I guess Miwako just misses Arashi today. But it's very confusing to miss Arashi, you know - well, you don't know, since Miwako is probably the only one who misses Arashi, unless you're George or Caroline... Even though I miss Arashi, you see, I don't want him to come to the City. He'd hate everything about the City. Furthermore, Miwako doesn't want him to come to the City because he'd be mad at her - because he'd hate Miwako's friends here, like Jeremy or so. He is always so jealous. I wish he'd believe in me more sometimes.

I feel bad because I know that's just Arashi, and I can't expect Arashi to not be Arashi, especially because Miwako loves Arashi and she wouldn't love Arashi if he wasn't Arashi. Which is different than loving Hiro, because Hiro is Hiro, and Arashi isn't Hiro in the same way that Hiro isn't Arashi, but I'd probably still love them if they were each other, because they would be each other. Arashi doesn't ask Miwako to change herself, so it's not fair if Miwako is ever unhappy about how Arashi acts - because he's just Arashi, and Arashi is the person that Miwako loves the most, so she just needs to accept him as he is. Right?

I just... wonder sometimes if things would be different if it were Hiro who Miwako loved most. I mean- I don't. And I wouldn't change it. I'm not planning to, or wishing I could, or anything. Arashi is not a bad boyfriend - Miwako forgives him if he hurts her. Like our first time - Miwako didn't want to, but Arashi did, and so we did, even though Miwako said no; but it's okay, because Miwako knows that sooner or later we would have done it together no matter what. I guess I just wonder, "What would it be like the other way?" Hiro would have waited until Miwako was ready, I think. I wish sometimes it had been more romantic the first time, but that's okay, because it's romantic now and Arashi is very good. ♥ Arashi is just Arashi, and it's Miwako's special job to love him that way, in short. I guess sometimes... part of that hurts. Like a challenge.

Miwako's very happy, I mean - I do love Arashi very much. Nobody is perfect, right? I guess I'm thinking, today, that because Arashi is Arashi, and not someone else, that I don't want him to come to the City - he doesn't need that. I miss him, and if he does come, Miwako will still be happy he's here - but the City isn't a place for a person like Arashi, maybe. It just wouldn't be any good.

Miwako was also wondering which employers are hiring right now. Maybe Miwako could work in the candy shop that Caroline works in! That'd be so cool! ★

And finally, the last thing that Miwako was wondering about were her friends' dinner plans this week. Someone told me about a restaurant called "The Hymns of Lorelei" where everyone dresses up as bunnies, and I think it sounds adorable~ ♥ I'd like to visit it someday! When I have more money, of course. Maybe that's where we can go for Hirakosan to meet Caroline~! Whee! ☆

It's so nice to have cats again~ ♥ Emichan and Hikkichan look very cute in their different ribbons. I wonder what Arashi and Sissy would think of them. ~~Of everyone, really...~~

The year has gone by very quickly, though. It's... It's actually rather sad, I think! Miwako got here in April, and in just a few months, it will be April again. I wonder what it's like for the people who have been here for years...

But~! On the brighter side, even though we're all away from home this New Year's, we are not away from friends! ♥ Because we've all made marvelous new friends in the City that we would have never met if we'd been at home this whole time, and we get to watch the new year come in and this old year go out, together with them! ♥ How lucky!

On that note~

I wonder if I should get a kimono. Is there any place to rent kimono in the City?

It's always best to go to a shrine before midnight, once you're old enough to go out so late, and it's not traditional to go in your every day clothes. New Years is special. It's the important holiday. ♥

Does anywhere sell New Year's soba in the City, too? ♥

Dear City!

Please don't buy any mousetraps! That's really mean!

Instead, lure the mice out with cheese, and trap them in jars. Then we can figure out what to do with them from there...

Maybe there could be a mouse exhibit at the Zoo? Is that possible? Mice are very cute, when they're not being bothersome.

For now, maybe try to catch more mice! The more mice we catch, the more clocks can start working again!

Plus, it must be very scary for all the mice, too, to be stuck inside the clocks... They must be so hungry that they think there is cheese inside, and all they find are clockworks, and those metal gears can't be delicious at all...

If we catch all the mice, I'm sure we can have the clocks working again in no time! But such a super-cute infestation must be fixed!!

Does anyone have any good mouse-catching ideas...~?

NINETEEN DAYS 'TILL CHRISTMAS~~ ♪

Who's excited? Miwako didn't get to read anyone's lists the other day, but on the plus side, she's finished not just her dress for Christmas, but also got a few of Sissy's winter designs done for AKINDO!

And... I, uhm..- I actually tried to design some things myself, again! It's been a really long time, which is, really, kind of funny, all things considered~ I'm not sure how much I liked what I sketched out, but they are still only sketched out, after all. I can always just throw them away once I decide.

I also finished some designs that I found from a couple of months ago that... someone who is very lucky that he can be much happier now, even if other people who love him so so so so so much will miss him... made for love★DAiSY~ Maybe you can model them, Jeremy. ♥

I think we all know how to be happy when we really need to be, right? ♥ It's not so hard.

I bought a book of Christmas-themed recipes to bake~ Cookies and brownies and cakes and all those sorts of things. It has a lot to do with decorating, more so than with actually baking. Maybe we can make some together -- you and me, friends.
I can give some out at AKINDO, and I can save a lot of them, and I can give some to Sir Christopher and keep some at the studio, and -- O! Maybe Tamaki wants some -- for the Host Club. Sweets are nice, and everyone can still smile and feel happy, because they'll be cute. ♥
Or maybe we can send some on balloons~

Silences between sentences are eerie and pregnant, as if she's listening to someone else's response, but she's the only one who can hear. Her voice is very upset, but quiet and low -- somehow calm, or numb. It's all rather awkward, really.]

Always in the middle of something important!! Curse Fairy, sometimes this kind of silliness can be very intolerable! Curse Fairy, Miwako didn't mean it when she said Arashi should go home. She didn't mean she wanted to be away from him for so long again. She just didn't want Alice to be upset anymore.
And she didn't mean it when she told Alice that it was mean to laugh at the clerk dropping all the clothes he was carrying in the store, and that she didn't want to hear her say he was stupid ever again. Miwako loves hearing Alice say anything, as long as she gets to hear her every day.
Sissy has so many people who work for her at Happy Berry, compared to how many people work with us at AKINDO for Risachan, but there aren't so many people to help Sissy at Sissy's apartment, and no one to watch Alice, or read to Alice, or play video games with her, or make dinner, or clean up, or feed the kitties, or fix their bows, or tuck them in, or cuddle with them on colder nights...
Curse Fairy, kitties don't have thumbs!! They can't feed themselves!! Josephine cannot starve! She's far too pretty!!

We design, make, present, and photograph clothes, for fun; we haven't gotten serious enough to sell them or anything, yet~ But at this point, the only people involved, really, are Miwako, Prince Hikaru, and Jeremy.

We decided that Kid would look really ace☆ for our look, though, with enough practice. It's really not too hard, and Kid isn't too short, like Miwako is~ It wouldn't be a full-time thing, and we can't pay you yet, since we don't make any funds~ Miwako could pay you a little, if you wanted, though...

Kid has this ☆BITCH☆ look that is very good for modelling sometimes~! ♥ I think he would be really wonderful at it, even if he's not serious about it as a career or anything -- it's just for fun! ♥

It would be super fantastic if Kid would agree~ I can tell you more about it, if you'd like~ I think it'd be really nice to have Kid spend time with us at the atelier, too! ♥ But you can't skateboard on the beach... Buuu...

O, no! The City is more genius now! GENIUS☆IGNACIOSAN~!!

Miwako and Jeremy went to the beach today, when we went to visit the atelier.

We brought our ~~new!~~ swimsuits, too~

And we walked up and down the beach, calling,

"Sushichan~! Sashimichan~~!!"

And we even tried saying kun, chama, tan, sama, senpai, kouhai, and everything else we could think of, including Mister, Miss, Missus, Señor, Señora, Señorita, Monsieur, and Mademoiselle... And also just "Sushi~!" and "Sashimi~!"

And we swam out super duper far until Miwako's feet couldn't touch the bottom anyore! ~~Even though Jeremy's chest was mostly still above water...~~

...
But Sashimi and Sushi never swam to us. We looked in the bushes, too, and in the atelier, and everywhere! But they didn't swim up~

So Jeremy and I decided to look in the fountain for them again, but they weren't there, either~ So we went and ate lunch and thought about where fishies would go if they were fishies, and where we would go if we were fishies, and where fishies would go if they were us, and Jeremy figured it out! ♥

Miwako might have found a wonderful atelier~! A lovely and kind person offered his large pink home on the beach with many rooms and a gigantic cafeteria to us, so we could use one of the rooms as our studio! ☆ ~~We don't have to pay rent, but do you think we should anyhow? He's so nice, we have to repay him somehow, if we take him up on his offer... He says to take our time~ ♥~~

So, after being practically bankrupt by the Host Club, Miwako wants to send out a huge Thank you to Risachan for helping finish the flamingo costumes~~~!! ♥

It goes to show how much faith to place in society, I think~~ ♥

But there's nothing to do about it. Miwako will just keep living with it, and be happy regardless. ♥ It was quite fun to make nine bloody flamingo costumes, Tamakisan~! ☆ If I had a kitty, he'd love to play with all the feathers around my apartment, now~~ There are a lot~! ☆ Thanks for the experience~! ♥ It's nice to know that there are people who are more demanding and idealistic than George out there~! ☆ Maybe it's attributes only to the geniuses of the worlds~~~
